The Revolution – Minneapolis MN – January 29th 2018

As Minnesota counts down the final days leading up to Super Bowl LII being held at U.S. Bank Stadium, there are many activities that have been planned in the Twin Cities for visitors and locals as well. With a theme centered around embracing the #BoldNorth, the Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis has turned into Super Bowl Live, which includes 10 nights of free concerts on the outdoor Verizon Up stage.

Night 4 of the celebration named Prince Night was no doubt among the most anticipated. Followers of the Minneapolis Sound may have been surprised to learn it was the first time The Revolution, Morris Day & The Time, Sheila E., Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis all shared the stage together at one event. The outside temperature was definitely cold, but it did not hinder the large crowd that had gathered to jam out once again to hits including “Glamorous Live”, “Jungle Love” and of course “Purple Rain”.
