The Prize – Episode 3 – Dave King
The Prize is a podcast hosted by 1013 contributor Danny Sigelman out of Northeast Minneapolis.
In Episode #3 of the Prize, Danny interviews world renown jazz drummer, Dave King.
Dave is known for being a founding member of The Bad Plus and Happy Apple. He also performs in Dave King’s Trucking Company, Broken Shadows, Golden Valley is Now and has worked with saxophonist Joshua Redman and guitarist Julian Lage among many others.
The Bad Plus returns to Minneapolis for their annual series of performances during the holidays at the Dakota in Downtown Minneapolis. Starting on Christmas day, 12/25, The Bad Plus will be performing 2 shows for four nights at the Dakota.
