Minnesota State Fair – Day Three

Can you believe the Minnesota State Fair is already ¼ of the way done?  Thank goodness there’s still 9 days left to get out and join in all the festivities.

There was a noticeable increase in cowboy hats as a capacity crowd for the Dierks Bentley show enjoyed a beautiful day at the fairgrounds. Not sure if his relationship with 5 Hour Energy drinks played a role, but Bentley was at his best on the giant Grandstand stage. He appeared to be in the mood to party with his black solo cup in hand and offered up a great vocal performance as he did a nice job of making his way about all parts of the stage. Up and comer Caylee Hammack kicked the show off also full of energy and excitement.

We also made sure to get out and see another Country up and comer Brandon Lay at the Leinie’s Lodge as well as a teaser performance by the Twin Cities band Early Eyes prior to their headlining set on the Shell stage.
