The Fillmore Minneapolis presents Yung Gravy

A brand new music venue opened up in Minneapolis in February. American events promoter and venue operator Live Nation welcomed The Fillmore located in the north loop part of Minneapolis. The building is located on 525 N 5th Street N across the street from Holiday Gas station and in between Target Field and Fulton Brewing Tap Room. To set the scene, the new venue heated things by delivering Yung Gravy, Minnesota’s own iconic and up and coming music performer.

Yung Gravy carries a caliber style and prominent reputation for his barbershop doo-wop remixes and retro style beats like Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes (Mr. Clean),  Baby Come back by Player (Cheryl) and Gonna fly now – Rocky theme song (Ice Cream Truck) are just a few of the trendy hits achieving mass success across social media platforms and streaming services like Youtube and Spotify. The University of Wisconsin graduate burst onto the music scene in 2017 and the Gravy train hasn’t skipped a beat since then.

The 23 year old Rochester native who’s name Matthew Raymond Hauri took to the stage Friday night and performed to a sold out show with host DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip.

The stage illuminated with strings of bright white lights and color lights that flashed across the place. The concert started off with Gravy’s recent EP album Baby Gravy 2 and a  mix of his older albums; Snow Cougar, Baby Gravy and Sensational. Concertgoers enraptured Yung Gravy as he excited his instagram audience with Splash Mountain and throwing water across the stage which sprinkled out onto the radiating audience. Yung Gravy’s known obsession for food and MILFs took to eating a broasted chicken and even sharing it with some of the people standing in the front row. Not present at the show was rapper, Bbno$ (baby no money), instead it was Yun Gravy’s mother singing in a duo in their home state “Let’s make mamma mo money in this bitch.”

Yung Gravy will continue touring with DJ Dillon Francis X in the Sugar, Spice and everything ice tour. The tour is scheduled to end in the beginning of July at the Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY.
