Bob Seger – Xcel Energy Center – St. Paul MN – December 12th 2018

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band live at the Xcel Energy Center December 12th 2018

Bob once again brought his Silver Bullet Band back to Minnesota. Why would he not? It is one of the hot beds for classic rock here in the midwest.

Classic rock station KQRS is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year and it one of the biggest classic rock stations in the country.

Bob Seger is one everyday at some point. Not much I can say about Bob that has not already been said.

This tour is dubbed Final Tour. Now a lot of bands say this but I’m believing Bob that is is it. Now like everyone else there maybe shows here and there but tours are long and wearing.

All the greatest hits were played tonight. He even pulled out Shame on the Moon which has not been in the set for 25 years.

I love when they pull the cool songs out.

Stage was filled with people from all eras of the band and some new comers to the Silver Bullet Band. At 72 Bob still commands the stage like a young 50 year old. I had my mom there and she said she was 13 months older than Bob. Asked her if she could do that at her age and she said UMMM no.

Now at 73 he sounds great, I have seen him before and his voice was better but at his age he was still rocking it. Never in my wildest dreams would I think I would still be seeing some of the great music ever created in 2018. The band played every song as close to the original as they could. I am not a big fan of rearrangements on classic songs. I am so glad Bob does not do that.

This is a man not to miss. If he is anywhere close check out the show. The is The Final Tour.
